Re: Fantasy Football Advice PLEASE!!!
I'm going to get in on this gravy train.
I have solid K, D/ST, and WRs... my qb's and rb's are sort of lacking. I got in one of those auto draft deals and really hate the way those two positions turned out. I have made plenty of moves and shored my team up somewhat (I am leading the league and won last week by ~90 points) but I could still use some help this week.
I have Mcnabb against Detroit, Carson Palmer against Miami or Ryan Fitzpatrick against KC. I want to play Fitz but I know his 20 pt streak has to come to an end soon. Detroit's D is ranked 23rd, but Carson has done well for me the weeks I have played him. I just wish Vick and Desean Jackson were playing so I could just ride them the rest of the season.
As for RB, I have Forte (BYE) who has been doing his part if not on the ground through the air, and then Knowshon and DeAngelo Williams. I am pretty solid on Knowshon but I am thinking about picking up Ronnie Brown to take DW's place... it sucks that they both split time. What should I do there?
Also, has anyone read the fantasy projections from espn lately? Almost all of mine have to do with candy..
A foot sprain threatens his status, so don't jump to declare this a no-brainer matchup. He's fantasy football's answer to Skittles: Decent but not great, but if you want to understand the downside, toss the candy on your ice cream sometime. (Note: First kiss your teeth goodbye.)"
"Sometimes you feel like a nut, Part 2, and in Ochocinco's case, his "Almond Joy" nature returned in full force in Week 7. Who says you can't have two flamboyant receivers on the same roster? And who says they can't both cut through that Miami secondary, like soft, sweet coconut?"
People who bought the idea that McNabb would be a sensation in the nation's capital were sold a bill of goods, kind of like how "Good & Plenty" wants you to believe its name. (It's neither good nor plenty.) Don't fall for the trap again, tempting as it might be to see the Lions as his opponent.
"When will the string of 20-point fantasy performances end? How about here, now that defenses are finally onto him? Fitzpatrick's hot spell has the taste of a box of Nerds; they're oh-so-sweet, oh-so-addictive, but sooner or later, the novelty of eating pure sugar wears off."
