    What's with the Vikes' purple pants?

    They look ridiculous. On the close ups they don't even look like they are the same color as the jerseys. I think they should have broken those out on the road.

    I'm hoping beyond hope it's some kind of throwback cuz I sure don't want to see these for every home game.

    I though the Viks colors were always Purple & Gold (Remember the D-Line used to be called, "the Purple People Eaters")

    I just thought the color definition on my TV couldn't pick up the purple, but I guess they changed to blue at some point in time.

    They said at the beginning of the telecast that they were wearing them today because they wanted to feel like they were starting the season over today. New unis, new season. Something to that effect. Honestly, I don't care what the vikes do anymore, they need to dump chilly and dump favre or I can't cheer for them anymore...

    Sounds like Rice could be back in the lineup pretty soon which could result in a stronger finish for Favre over the remainder of the season as long as we see a significant drop in interceptions.
