Didn't they give up a few draft picks to move up and get Tebow?

If so, that has to be one of worst moves for a team that needs players and just one piece of a puzzle.

I thought it'd be after the season, little surprised they'd do it right now I guess.

Re: Black Monday claims Josh McDaniels

McDaniels in less that 2 years set this team back at least 5 years. Lost franchise QB and franchise WR. The draft picks on the bears were essentially wasted by trading one to move up in the second round and another on Tebow. Orton has put up good numbers when the game is out of hand. He is not a big time QB. At the end of the game yesterday he skipped about 4 balls to open recievers. He got rid of Nolan the D coordinator he got that team 6 wins last year. Mcdaniels was a Loud mouth kid that the players and coaches hated. He called his whole coaching staff into the owners office last week and screamed at them in front of the owner. Real classy. And he traded for Brady Quinn. Should have been fired this offseason when he brought in tebow and quinn.

THANK ****ING GOD!!! Don't let the door hit you on the way out you arrogant punk

Between McDermott leaving and McDaniels getting canned, it's been a good year for my teams getting rid of coaches I thought I'd be stuck with for at least 1-2 more years

I think you need to take a second look at the Belichick coaching tree. There have been plenty of duds but Nick Saban, Pat Hill, and others disagree with your assessment.

Jim Schwartz with the Lions is still out there as well and I don't think Eric Mangini is a horrible coach.
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012.

Youngest hired and youngest fired. I guess that's a legacy of some sort.

1st off, orton has statistically outplayed cutler since the trade-like him or not(i really dont and still think long term i woulda rather had cutler, although he doesn't look like a true "franchise" qb either)and brandon lloyd doesn't look like any dropoff from marshall.

as for the draft picks-this is where he lost me. i think with the moves he made, they could have loaded up on some great players. instead, they draft an undersized rb, ayers who was a real headscratcher and is a bust thus far, trade up to draft alphonso smith(yes the guy that got torched by the pats on thanksgiving day) and promptly trade him for a 3rd string te(gronkowski), the entire TEBUS debacle, peyton hillis for brady quinn?! the guy was in over his head. great offensive mind but a complete disaster as head man.

hopefully they can get a gruden/cowher type proven winner
