I can't believe someone actually bothered to suggest that. Does he really think the NFL would consider playing a game in a 16,000 seat stadium?

article says the game was scheduled to be in a dome and should be played as so for fairness. Outdoor game would likely benefit the bears more than the vikings

What an awful 'article' if you want to call it that. The game will be played in MN barring major hurdles that can't be cleared.

No way they even consider a 16,000 seat stadium, they are already doing everything they can to get the Dome ready so they don't have to play in the 50,000 seat TCF Bank. They would have played it there last week but the stadium was in hibernation mode and would take a few days to prepare for a game.

It's all about the Benjamins. Look for the Vikings to seek retribution from the company that manages the Dome for any lost revenues for last week and this upcoming week.

Right. I mean think of how ridiculous it is to even float that idea. Iowa or ISU would NEVER play at the UNI Dome. But someone thinks the Vikings and Bears would consider playing there? The thought is just preposterous.

This is one effect of our new blog culture. In the old days this probably never would have gotten out because the writer would have thought better of it before the paper came out the next day. Nowadays, everything is instant. Everyone's got diarrhea of the mouth. Or keyboard.

I don't think Iowa or ISU CAN play at the Dome. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that FBS had to be played in stadiums of a certain capacity, and the UNI-Dome fell below it.
