Re: Who are you ashamed to admit you like?

The Hawk Tight Ends that are successful in the NFL. Specifically Dallas Clark.

I love seeing a great tight end cause the defense fits. Collin Franklin may be one of my favorite Cyclone Football players in years.

Hate cheering for a hawk, but they put out some awesome Tight Ends.
"Blamo"! The new CF approved swear word.

I'm with you on this one. Esp Cam Newton, that guy is unbelievable. I still don't think he is innocent in this pay-for-play thing, but he is a stud.

I still like Shaq. He's fun to watch and makes me laugh -- doesn't take himself so seriously.

One of my favorite all time CF posts is by Ficklone02 on Shaq:

Wish I could say I'd met him....so forgive me, but this is a neat story Fred told on IPTV many years ago. As captain of the NBA team he was playing for at the time (Bulls, I believe) it was his duty to meet with the captains of the other team at midcourt with the head referee to go over the usual pre-game chat. This game they were playing the Lakers and so Shaq and Kobe were the opposing captains. As he said, he went up and shook hands with Kobe and then Shaq...who just stands there staring at him....and Fred said Shaq finally growls out in a deep low voice...."The Mayor". And then smiles at Fred. Priceless.

Re: Who are you ashamed to admit you like?

I totally missed the direction of this thread. The person I immediately thought of was Richard Nixon. A deeply-flawed character yet a brilliant mind.

I guess I should pay more attention to the forum before I read these threads.

Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it).

2006 Floyd Landis. I watch the DVD of LeTour de France and still believe he didn't use performance enhancing drugs. ugh.
