I would agree with you on the deal Holliday got. I would also agree he is worth it I just dont see how the cards can afford it.
A 10 year deal for that much money is a heck of a lot of risk for a ball club to take on.
This. Pujols is definitely worth it if he stays healthy for the majority of those 10 years and his production doesn't fall off a cliff. Unfortunatey those are two BIG ifs, especially with Pujol's recent history of elbow problems. It's not like the Cardinals are the Yankees and can just print more money if Pujols goes down.
