Super Bowl party menu
Having friends over for the game, having tough time deciding what food to have ready. What's on the menu for CF posters??

Re: Super Bowl party menu
We always try to go with a theme from the city it's in. This year is Texas Brisket.

Re: Super Bowl party menu
Everyone is bringing something to our party so who knows what we'll have for food. We are making buffalo chicken cheese dip which tends to go pretty fast with our group of friends and I think we may try making taco soup using someone receipe that we thought was pretty good.

Strippers and Jim Beam. Everything else is just taking up space.

over medium heat, combine:
1 block cream cheese
1 can chicken
1 bottle ranch dressing
1 bottle Franks hot sauce
Get that all melted together, and as it starts to cool, add a cup of your favorite shredded cheese. Can keep warm in a crock pot.
Tastes good on everything.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating. -

Tastes good on everything. This is pretty close except I think we use 2 blocks of cream cheese, 2 cans of chicken, and add some shredded cheddar cheese into the mix as well. Depends on how hot you like it you can add either more ranch or hot sauce or even substitute bleu cheese dressing instead of ranch if you would prefer that. We usually buy one of the bigger bottles of Franks and keep adding to it till the hotness is to our liking. Also, want to warm the chicken up in a skillet first and kind of get it to separate some as if the chicken is more shredded and not chunky the consistency is better. Also don't get some wussy chips, this stuff is thick. Get some large corn tortilla chips or something, not those little rounds people get sometimes cuz they just break. Basically the dip will kind of taste like cheesy hot wings if you make it just right

Re: Super Bowl party menu
last year I tried a different spin on little smokies and meatballs. Instead of meatballs I cooked up some chicken and cut it into squares and mixed with some smokies. Instead of bbq sauce I used wing sauce. Since there wasnt any left by the end of halftime im guessing people liked it. And it was very simple too.
