He deserved it.

Are you ******* kidding me? Mike ******* McCarthy took a team with more than 15 players on IR to the Super Bowl and he loses to that ******* cutoff sweatshirt wearing *** clown? Sweet, the Patriots were sick in the regular season but lost in their first playoff game and McCarthy took a 6 seed to the Super Bowl? Eat **** Belichick.

I think he deserve to win it. Not much talent on that roster. The loss to the Jets was disappointing but it happens.

AFC was a lot better than the NFC this year, too.

Says the guy pimping Paul Rhoads, coach of a 5-7 football team, to be coach of the year.

Okay let me help you out a bit.

1. The COY voting is on the regular season, the voters can't take in to account the playoffs.

2. The Patriots had over 15 people on IR during the season.

3. The Patriots had the 2nd youngest team in the league

4. The loss of Randy Moss broke up the offense which lead to mid-season changes.

5. Best record in the NFL

Those are some of the reason he received it.

Mike McCarthy deserved to win this award unanimously and was shafted.

I kind of jokingly went over board with this, but seriously, how did McCarthy not get a single vote? Steve Spagnuolo got votes for a team that didn't even make the playoffs. I honestly don't get it. And I realize I could be biased, but I think it's absurd that he wasn't even considered.

if rodgers,woodson,matthews, were on ir and the packers still make the super bowl then mccarthy deserves it.

And he doesn't with his starting TE, RB, and half of the starting defense on IR, while making the Super Bowl?

I'm very biased here, but any coach that can take a team from 4-12 to 10-6 with an incredibly strong draft class should have won, i.e. Todd Haley.

Packers are stacked with talent. Yea, I understand that they had injuries, BUT the patriots had key injuries as well along with their best CB being a rookie. Their best 2 TE's were rookies. Their kicker was on IR. Brady was hurt half the season with an undrafted RB with a backup RB that was claimed the 2nd week after the Jets cut him. Their whole D Line was put on IR with their rookie LB on suspension for four games.

The Patriots and BB earned it. McCarthy is loaded with top notch people. Okay, okay they lost a good RB and an average TE doesn't matter they had experience everywhere in every position.

Again I will mention the Patriots got rid of Moss (HOF) and had the best record in the league.

I will make sure that he gets a vote next time.
