If they had any faith in the ownership or GMs of the teams they might re-sign like Durant did in OKC. Going to a major market isn't the only draw. It was in their CBA to be able to leave and they exercised that option. With all of the teams you mentioned, I will still tune into Suns games beacuse of Nash, Warriors games because of Curry and Ellis, and many more. I'm probably a little bit more of an NBA fan that most, but not every team will be able to win a championship and having 10 really good teams and 10 really bad teams is a proven formula in all leagues. The NFL's avg player "career lifespan" is shorter so there is a higher chance of the teams changing up year-to-year. In the NBA, bad teams can become elite and vice-versa, it just takes a longer period of time because they players play 4x longer. I've been a Suns fan my whole life. I love Nash, but until their ownership/management is cleaned out, Phoenix will continue to slide toward mediocrity or worse.

They just updated the mock draft thing on ESPN and it says that Cleveland would take Kyrie Irving and Jonas Valaciunas (sp?) Here is the link. ESPN - 2011 NBA Lottery Mock Draft -

Harrison Barnes to Utah - interesting...

Harrison Barnes to Utah - interesting... Kyrie Irving is probably the best pure pg since CP3 to come out of college. And what's the scouting report on Jonas Valaciunas? I'm not familiar with him, but apparently you are.

Re: 2 Lottery picks for the Cavaliers
And this notion that multiple superstars on the same team is some new concept is ridiculous. Even ISU BET's beloved Jordan played with Pippen (one of the top forwards of all time) and Rodman (I would argue more valuable as third star than Chris Bosh). There are just too many teams, so you have guys like Kevin Love who should be a stellar complementary, #2 type player toiling away as the best guy on a bad team. The NBA never should have added Charlotte back after they moved, or added Toronto and Vancouver back in the 90's. You take out those three and maybe a Sacramento or New Orleans, and the league has a lot more parity even with "super-teams" like Miami or Boston.

And while CP3 is a special PG, saying someone is the best pure PG to come out in 6 years isn't exactly an impressive sample size...

Don't you think a lot of that has to do with him getting hurt and not playing most of this season? The way he was getting hyped early in the college season, I could see him having John Wall-esque hype by the draft, had he stayed healthy.

Irving can actually run an offense, and do things like defense to help his team win. I think this draft is more of a deep draft where the 1-7 picks are all pretty similar, but 7-mid 20's aren't that big of a drop off. The Morris twins are projected in the 20's, and I think they can become pretty good players in the league. Cleveland made a great trade.
I'm more interested in the NBA this year by far. Last year there were 2 contenders. Then Orlando got to the Finals the year before, Orlando is not very good. This year there's Boston, LA, SA, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and even OKC (just got Kendrick Perkins). Even the bottom half of the East and West are interesting, Philly (my team) and Indiana are fun teams to watch. Portland is also fun to watch in the West.

You'd think Boston would try to keep that line-up intact until the big three completely breaks down.
