Bertuzzi tossed tonight for a ridiculous elbow in 1st period

Bertuzzi was given 5 min major and game mis-conduct for the hit. A little more than 5 min in to the game tonight Blackhawks at Redwings and Bertuzzi is up to his old tricks. On this hit he leads with the elbow and leaves his feet on an unsuspecting player (Ryan Johnson)

I am so sick and tired of Bertuzzi. Hopefully he gets a few games off. Dude should feel lucky that he is even allowed to play in the League.

I wish he'd just get thrown out of the league. Maybe I hate him because he always plays for the rivals of the teams I root for, but he's dirty as hell.

That was a hell of a game tonight though. A must win for the Hawks, and they got it.

To me it sounded like the majority of Red Wings fans (excluding the tools who are there to see the carnage) weren't thrilled about that hit. Yeah, you had the initial "big hit cheer," but it didn't take long for that to die out when Johnson didn't get up off the ice and they realized that it was Bertuzzi that made the hit.
