***OFFICIAL Day 1 Masters Thread***
Let's chat about day one of the Masters in this thread.
Today's burning question: Does Arnold Palmer have a shot to pull off the greatest upset in sports history? -
Re: ***OFFICIAL Day 1 Masters Thread***
Blows that the previous thread was closed as I was putting in my pick...
(it was going to be Lefty, BTW)
As far as the upset, dunno - but I like his drink...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -
Re: ***OFFICIAL Day 1 Masters Thread***
I watched Palmer last night in the par 3 contest and it kind of made me sad. I doubt we see him playing in it much more than a couple more years. On the other hand, Player and Nicklaus still look very good for their age. Especially Player. Granted they are somewhere around 6 and 10 years younger, respectively.

For the Bubba Watson fans out there... you have to check out the guys videos on Youtube. He has some funny videos he puts out. Probably a good guy to follow on twitter as well. Pretty hard to not cheer for this guy.

Nick Watney had a nice run to finish the front 9. He was +2 thru 6 holes and then birdies 7,8,and 9. Well done.

The Masters looks so good in HD. Augusta looks immaculate. The Masters always reminds me that Spring is just around the corner, and we are leaving the dark and dreary days of winter behind us.
It's good weekend nappin' TV too. Just pop it on, lay down on the couch, and enjoy.

That spells disaster. Usually the guys that are at the top of the leaderboard after the 1st round fall off the face of the earth come the 2nd & 3rd rounds.
Currently have 2 amateurs sitting in the top 10.

I'm at work and can't get any video feeds, ( stupid IT restrictions :) ) seeing some fairly low scores already. Is the course set up that easy/really soft greens/really easy pins?
PS, I'll take an international player to win this year. Someone like Lee Westwood or Martin Kaymer.
