Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
My pick in danger of missing the cut. Guess the eagle on his first hole was not a good sign:(

I like Tiger's response any time someone talks about him. None have been better than the Rory Sabbatini one though when he talked about winning more in that current season playing "poorly" than Rory had in his whole carreer. Then he promptly kicked Rory's ***. Then there was Stephen Ames. Poor Stephen Ames had no idea what he was doing the day before that match.

I remember the Stephen Ames debacle. You don't talk smack and then promptly go out and lose (IIRC) every single hole on the front 9 in an 18 hole match. If you are dormie with 9 holes to go you took a serious beatdown.
Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
Right now there are a bunch of players praying for a couple of bogeys by Rory. I think he will cough up a couple of shots before his day is done.
Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
Look out folks Tiger's on the prowl. Three consecutive birdies and 4th birdie in 5 holes!!

Yeah and his confidence in his swing change will only grow with success. Once that happens it could be a snowball. Every golf tournament is better when Tiger is in the hunt. If he's in the final two or three groups and close, the tournament is just more exciting.

I would completely agree with you on that! Right now he's a tap in away from being 5 under!
On a side note, how about Jason Day's -8!

No kidding. He reminds me of the golf version of Ryan Scheckler(sp). I bet he still brings in the chicks though.
Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
Tiger has it in the slot.
Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
Tiger has had rounds like this before but he hasn't been able to do it for a full 4 days.

Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
Tiger finished -6 for the day, -7 for the tourney so far!!
Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I went to work and Tiger was even, I just got back home and he is -7! That little rascal! I sure hope he can keep it up the next 2 days and get that win.
Re: ***OFFICIAL Masters Day 2 Thread***
I'm sticking with Tiger. I still believe Rory will have a bad round. He, in the past, has been the type of player that wins because the great rounds exceed the bad rounds. That sounds really obvious but he just doesn't seem all that steady to me. Great player, don't get me wrong, but I see and over par round in there. Now Tiger could shoot 75 tomorrow as well, but he knows this golf course in and out which, if you're playing poorly, can save you a large number of shots. Rory doesn't have that yet. He has to hit the ball well to score okay.
