Minnesota Sports

Don't get me wrong, I am an ISU fan, but being from Minnesota, I still cheer for anything Minnesota. But seriously, will Minnesota ever have a good sports team ever again? The Vikes were a major disappointment this past year, the Twins are looking awful this year, and don't even get me started on the Wolves. What is up with MN sports?! The only team that's done anything is the U of M Duluth hockey team. Ugh....

Wolves will be on their way up next year with Rubio and either Irving or Williams.

ever again? Yeah, I think it's a reasonably safe bet to say that they will again have a good sports team at some point. The Vikings are 2 years removed from a NFC championship game appearance. The Twins won the AL Central, last year. The T-wolves... suck.

But, there have definitely been some good teams from the Twin Cities as of late. Championship teams? That's another story, but you can still be good without winnning it all.

I think you're being a little overdramatic, at least as far as the Twins are concerned. Yes, the Twins did get off to a slow start, but then the injury bug has gone from biting to straight up gnawing, not to mention the flu bug has rampaged the locker room.

I mean, compare the Twins opening day lineup:

to the lineup they used in their 10-3 loss to KC on Sunday:

It's rather sickening when you think about it.

Well, if you look at it statistically, in my lifetime only one Minnesota professional sports team has won a championship, and that was 20 years ago.....
