Proud of the Bulls
Even though they lost to the Heat (ugh), they really over performed this year. Derrick Rose is a star, Defense is incredible, and they got a pretty good coach. All they need is a good SG, develop Asik, teach Boozer defense, and improve Rose's passing ability. It was a good year, and it should only get better.

Re: Proud of the Bulls
Do they need to get Heinrich back from Washington? Korver as a shooter had a bad series. Noah needs to improve his shooting to be more effective.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

You're proud of guys that get paid to play for "over performing"? -
Re: Proud of the Bulls
They did well. They just need to get Rose a little more help.

Re: Proud of the Bulls
Seems like not getting a trade done at the deadline for another scoring option really bit them in the butt.

thats a lot lol....Boozer after all these years i dont think is willing to learn much more. Asik could take several more years and Noah is not a threat for anything other than the hustle work...thats a huge key to their team but he really needs to develop some kind of scoring threat .

Re: Proud of the Bulls
They need a second scorer to help Rose out. Deng and Boozer aren't consistent enough to keep the pressure off Rose, if he had a sidekick at SG that could add another scoring threat the Bulls may have been able to beat the Heat this series. That was the difference, LeBron has Wade and to some extent even Bosh has his moment he'll drop 30 in a game, Rose is the only guy teams have to worry about stopping.
Not sure what you do, almost have to see if you can package Boozer up with someone and a draft pick if you want to land an impact player to help Rose out. Almost makes you wonder if the Bulls would have been better off staying with Taj Gibson at PF and not signing Boozer.

problem is Miami will only get better too. Outside of Rose, Deng and Gibson everyone else is an expendable. Bulls management: GET DWIGHT HOWARD!

Re: Proud of the Bulls
The Bulls in a lot of mock drafts are slated to take Marshon Brooks and Shelvin Mack. Both high scoring SG's in college. Hopefully, they can translate their shooting prowess to the NBA.

I don't want Arenas but he's going to get unloaded by Orlando if they do a Howard deal. He's a Dwight Howard surcharge.
I do worry about the Bulls going forward as they are now heavily invested in the Rose, Noah, Booze, Deng core. Rose made the leap this season, he's probably close to his ceiling as a player. Deng stayed healthy and had his best season. Noah can't score and Boozer can't defend. Is that core going to continue to improve or are they at their ceiling as a group? Where does a good SG come from without disrupting those four guys? How do you improve the team?
The window was open for them this year without a dominant team and they just couldn't close against the Heat in Games 2,4 or 5. The Heat were supposed to be an offensive juggernaut, not a defensive one. LBJ was too much to handle on both sides of the floor.

Re: Proud of the Bulls
I bet the Bulls wish they still had Ben Gordon from time to time...definitely was not a complete player but he could fill it up from the 2 guard spot.

Re: Proud of the Bulls
Proud? Are you proud of the fact that they ****** two-in-a-row down their legs to end the series? I'm sorry, but I am not happy with losing and losing in that fasion. The Bulls are a good shooter away from staying with the Heat. Honestly, I don't want to break up this team, but the fact that they have two 1st round draft picks isn't going to help. They need to either trade them away for a shooter or pick two international players that will stay overseas. Team unity is as underrated an aspect as you get.

Re: Proud of the Bulls
What they need is a second scoring option from the 2- guard spot. This draft may be god awful, but you never know. No one is going to take their picks because they are too low, so just use them and get the best available players. Have hope ZJohnson, have hope.
