Re: Trades coming fast and furious at the deadline.
Has there been a more injured pitcher then Harden in MLB. If he could ever stay healthy he would be good. Unfortunately for him he is the Jess Settles of MLB.
Indians give up a lot to get Jimenez, while the Bo Sox give up a declining prospect with no chance at playing time to get Harden.
From 13 or 14 - 1 at all star break last year and all star starter to washed up 1-7 pitcher traded for prospects. Simply amazing how fast someone can fall from grace.
Re: Trades coming fast and furious at the deadline.
I hope the Twins trade away someone and get some good minor league prospects. I think they are too far back, and with the Indians getting Jiminez and having three teams ahead of them does not help.
As a D-Back fan I love this trade. Marquis is only 32 and has pitched well this year so far. And the D-Backs didn't have to give up any of their top minor league prospects. They're basically renting him for the stretch. It's nice to see them be buyers instead of sellers this year.
