What franchise is KC looking to land? If KC is anything like St Louis a franchise would be good for KC, STL loves hockey.

I really want to see hockey continue to grow in the US for the good of the game. Especially in the midwest where it has alot better chance to succeed then say Phoenix. Its wierd how Minnesota is so hockey crazy, yet Iowa is not even close to that level. Anyway the problem is if Quebec City gets the approval for a new arena, the NHL will have to resturn to Canada again, after the success the new Winnipeg Jets have shown. All season tickets sold out in 2 minutes....(13,000) value of season tickets $1800-$5800 with seat fees of $500 - $1000 on top of that. Plus minimum 3 year commitment.

I really hope the NBA has no season this year. IT would be a great boost to hockey in my opinion. The more you watch it and understand it, the more you realize what a great exciting game it really is. I would love to See KC grab an NHL Team.

I think an NHL team in KC would do very well. I would definitely go down if/when Chicago was playing them.

I have enjoyed every Minnesota Wild game I have attended in St. Paul. Hockey is a lot of fun when you are in the arena. Another team within 3 hours of Ames just adds variety. Plus, Sprint Center is an incredible facility.

I don't get how soccer fans don't like hockey. It has better pace of play, more scoring, and the players aren't lady's reproductive organs.

My in-laws just moved from Memphis to Minneapolis. Playing the role of the concerned guy, I asked if they had found a soccer league for the kids. My sister in law said not yet, that 'hardly anyone plays soccer up here, they play baseball and hockey."
