    NFL Network (for Mediacom)

    Just saw this from Mediacom... So if you already have Digital Plus®, you don't have to do anything! Just enjoy the NFL Network!
    Effective on or about 9/9, NFL Network will be added on Digital Plus 186 and NFL Network HD will be added on HD Digital Plus 766.

    Just to get NFL network it will cost you about $25 month (box rental+Digital Plus+ fees) plus the initial $10 installation fee. That is from the extended basic with no box. This is just plain crazy its not like its the NFL Sunday Ticket. Only Mediacom could find a way to really screw over customers more.

    I have a ? for anybody who knows. What is the digital plus package? I have the HD box and I have starz that came with my package. I see the NFL network channel in HD but it says im not authorized. Do you have to pay extra for one channel?

    I am in the same boat. Looks like we're screwed. What a joke. Anyone have any insight on this?

    Digital + are the channels 172 - 390.
    I had the ($4.00) Sports package basically ch. 171-179

    ...but I dropped it and added Digital plus for ($8.00) ...Why?
    Because 6 of the 10 sports Pak channels were also included in Digital plus.
    The only thing I lost was Golf TV, the Tennis Ch., and Sportsman Ch..
    However, there's a golf channel (211) on digital plus, and several of the FOX college sports channels as well.

    Good to know, I'll have to decide if I want to pay the $8, but it looks like there is a good variety of items there.
