But the defense needs some work. Still a great game last night! Goal line stand to win it with no time left. Heck of a start to the season!

Completely agree with you on the offense. If we stay healthy, we should put up a lot of points every week.

On defense we did struggle a bit, but remember, they had the special teams TD in there too. Also, the Saints have a heck of an offense, so this shootout type of game didn't surprise me.

Great game to start the season!

They looked reeeeal good. Scares me. People are going to have to score 24+ points to beat them this year.

Saints defense last night was awful. I chalk that up to week one, lets see how the rest of the season goes first.

Saints were more or less in position on most of Rodgers' passes, he just threw them that well.

Definitely agree on a heck of a start.

I don't see any way the Green Bay offense doesn't remain as relentless as they did last night. Keep everyone healthy and the Packers will remain one of the biggest offensive threats.

On the defense: At times it seemed like Capers got a little blitz happy. It did work at times, but it seemed like Brees usually picked it up and made passes to Colston or Meachem. Or to Sproles on that one play where the blitz left him 1 on 1 with Hawk.

Can't wait to watch the rest of the season play out. Go Pack Go!

no Rodgers is just that good he makes passes that few would attempt. Cobb gives them another big time threat, Jones my not see the field much.

You have to give Brees credit as well, I thought pass D was fine but tackling was suspect.

Cobb was a beast last night. I hope they lock him down; a guy like that who's a threat at so many positions is worth it.

Exactly.

Unless the o-line picks up for the Saints, their quarterback is going to get knocked out. Towards the end he was getting hammered.

I thought that whole division looked pretty weak minus the Pack ... but after week 1 they all look pretty studly. well, minus McNabb & the Vikes... but even they did better than I thought they would.
