I admire your dedication to a lost cause. It's a business decision based on what game is likely to get more viewers. Regardless of the outcome today, if the same games would be played next week, they'd choose the Ravens/Steelers again. It's just a better game from a viewership standpoint. Simple as that.

If the games end up something like 59-7 Ravens and the Bills/Chiefs go to a thrilling OT session, I guarantee KCCI wouldn't be dumb enough to pick the Ravens/Steelers again the following week.

yes they would, because it's still the better game. Try to separate yourself from your Chiefs fandom. Take a step back. It's a far better game, and this is not KC's home market.

i dont know about you but i bet a lot more people like watching the steelers get thumped then watch bills chiefs

You're right, a 52 point beat down would be a much better game to watch than a game decided in OT.

C'mon man, this isn't even about my fandom now, it's about your reluctance to accept that KCCI is in a home market for the Chiefs.

Hell, I'd rather watch a 49ers/Seahawks game decided in OT than a 50+ point drubbing of any team vs. any team.

No, it's about you apparently not understanding the reasons that television stations choose to air football games. Regardless of today's outcome, Ravens v. Steelers is a better choice for a station like KCCI than KC v Buffalo. One hypothetical blowout or OT win is not going to change that.

Now, if there were playoff implications or Baltimore and Pittsburgh were both 0-6, they might change that decision, but for an early season matchup, it's simply a better game. Baltimore Pittsburgh is a game with a National draw. KC Buffalo is a regional game, period. And with KC losing like they are, it's not even a good one.

Me too! 49ers are my team!

But if Garmin did pick the game, he isn't a psychic. You can't go by the score now. You have to decide Chiefs Bills, or Steelers Ravens who have one of the best rivalries and one of the best match ups this week.
