I'm not all that disappointed, as I wasn't expecting much coming into the year. I say start playing Ponder more and more. Also, I would limit Peterson's carries a bit. With the strength of the division this season is most likely lost.

I don't know that QB is even the biggest issue. The o-line is terrible and the back four on defense is also awful.

I tend to agree with these sentiments. It appears to be rebuilding time. The Vikings had their chance two years ago and blew it. Now they have an aging roster with big holes to fill in the secondary, O-line, and at receiver. Every other team in their division has blown by them. Start playing Ponder to see whether he can be the quarterback of the future, and quit giving up draft picks for over-the-hill veterans.

Its not McNabb at all, its the o-line and pass coverage that need help. Of course, the Vikes knew that going into the season, I just can't figure why they can't move the ball after the half. Amazing, same thing has happened 3 games in a row.

Minnesota has at least 4 guys on those two corps that probably wouldn't be starters on any other team. You can add the SAM linebacker to that list too. Never good when you win a starting job be default.

The O-line sucks!! Period. Receivers dropped a lot of balls. Coaching wise... why go with the kid from Stanford - Gerhart - over Peterson on the 4-1 call? That could have been a game changer...

Went to this game today! Was my first NFL game ever! Great game!

First half was not so good. I found myself thinking at halftime 'They blew the lead last week, no way they do it again. They had to of learned their lesson.' Glad that thought was wrong.

They blew three consecutive halftime, double-digit leads and did so in their first three games. First time in the history of the NFL this has happened.

I'm having a hard time deciding if Leslie Frazier is either blind, an incompetent coach, or Brad Childress 2.0. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but to have this happen once is an accident, twice is a problem, thrree times is a trend.

And don't even get me started on McNabb...

I'm not ready to write off the season, as we are not mathematically out of it, but this is getting rediculous. At least Iowa State is 3-0! Yay pick-me-ups!

I agree with their window closing in New Orleans. I've told several people that while I love Peterson, I hope they don't spend too much on a big extension (oops) because they'll be rebuilding pieces for at least another 2-3 years when he's on the back end of being a premiere back.
