He's due to bat 2nd coming up in the bottom of the 9th.

He's been given like 7 last at bat standing ovations. It's pathetic.
He's staying. It's manufactured drama by the announcers/ESPN. The Cards won't let that guy go. They don't have a history of making that sort of ginormous mistake.

I never figured he'd be the type to leave. He doesn't really seem to have the Arod personality.
I don't know if they will shell out the coin for the amt of years he will want. I will say if he isn't a Cardinal, I'd bet he ends up in the AL; a 9-10 year deal is easier to swallow if you can stuff a player in the DH in the latter years.
Personally I think he's back next year. Which isn't good for us Royals fans. Always has like 4 blasts at the K.
