Suh kicks packer...now what?
After watching N. Suh kick that GB packer while he was on his back, it brought back memories of Albert Haynsworth doing it to Andre Guorode a few years back....
I wonder if the reaction will be similar by the league. haynesworth got a 5 game suspension....

time will tell, but, i guess the title NFLs dirtiest player is well deserved!!!!
I love players who play with attitude, but, he dont have control when he's out there!!!! Suh got manhandled and was ******!!!
And i dont like the packers!!!!
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
You know I thought suh was one of the good guys in college. Well spoken. Donated money back to his college. Now he is a punk
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
And Suh's post game explanation was even more pathetic.
I absolutely hate the Packers, but I was rooting for them, yesterday, especially after this play.

Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
Damnit Suh, my lions need wins, not this crap!
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
Totally uncalled for and deserved an ejection but I thought Haynesworth's incident was much worse.
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
Well, at least there's still hope for the guy - Ray Lewis was once considered a punk as well, now, after cleaning up his act and being a clean player for a decade, he's considered one of the greatest LBs ever to play the game.
The biggest problem with Suh is for whatever reason he just can't mentally comprehend that what he's doing is wrong. Until he realizes that there is a line between badarse and punk that he continues to cross, he's going to be considered a punk.

yeah, I believe Gurode ended up getting a fair number of stitches as a result of his incident. Dietrich-Smith escaped without injury.
I guess it boils down to whether the degree of the offense is measured by the act itself or the result of the act.

Yeah, Haynesworth's was much worse. However, even though Suh didn't make solid contact with his kick, you could tell that the intent was there and it wasn't just that he was trying to kick free. He was trying to do some damage. I think he'll get suspended for at least one game.

I was trying to remember whether Suh was this dirty in college. He had a helluva motor and was the best d-lineman I'd ever seen, but I don't recall him ever being dirty. Yesterday removed whatever respect I had left for the man, especially for how he refused to accept any responsibility after that fact.
I'm gonna say, 2 games and a hefty check to the NFL.

Completely agree.
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
He needs a big time fine and suspension. If it wasn't a constant question of the dirtiness that he plays with, it'd be one thing, but he's already got a history of this type of crap. I think it's sad that his coach is even kind of backing him up. It's blatantly obvious that he tried stomping on the guy. Someone needs to reel this guy in a bit, and if the coaching staff doesn't have the guts to do it, I hope Goodell hits him big time.
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
I'm guessing 3-5 games. The intent looks really clear on the video. His response to the press was a classic one for denial.
I seem to remember him being dirty in college, and having legal issues (at least with alcohol) as well. Kind of a classic classy Husker.
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
Rodney Harrison said once on Sunday Night Football back when James Harrison kept getting fined for his hits, that you can hit a player in the checkbook all you want, the message will not get through to them until they are sat down.
Time for Suh to be suspended. He won't get 5 games the way Haynesworth did. Haynesworth cleated a helmetless player in the face. I'm hoping Suh gets at least 2 game suspension.
Re: Suh kicks packer...now what?
I thought his actions before the kick were worse.... He was obviously yelling something at the dude as he was pounding his head into the turf repeatedly (I mean, trying to balance to stand up... Then the kick was just rediculous. I think the worst part about Suh is that he assumes everyone watching is an idiot... Just fess up and say you messed up. Has he EVER said he was in the wrong? for anything?
