Royals Sign Jonathan Broxton
Los Angeles Dodgers free agent Jonathan Broxton reaches deal with Kansas City Royals - ESPN
Brought him in to set up Soria, meaning they will probably try Crow in the starting rotation. If all else fails, this could free up a Soria-for-Starting Pitcher trade and allow Crow to be the closer.
I like the signing. Adds a little more experience to their young bullpen and gives the Royals a solid set up man.

I think it's a great move... If he's healthy and has a good year like he is capable, they can flip him later in the year too.

It's also a plus because it may give Crow a another chance to develop into a starter at AAA this year, and also opens the possibility of trading Soria. It might be the time to do that with the bullpen depth and the fact Pap went for $60 freaking million dollars.

Good deal. Wouldn't mind a trade to send Soria somewhere for a legit starter. Can't see Aaron as a starter as he was terrible in the minors. Love him and Collins as set up men for what could be Broxton as a closer. Ever since he dropped the Mexicutioner nickname he hasn't been good anyway. haha!

Love the direction the Royals are going in. Young guys like Escobar, Hosmer, and "Moose" are going to be exciting to watch over the next few years.....Hopefully management doesn't let the fans down.
