Yahoo sports is saying Paul to the Lakers for Odom and Gasol.

Re: Chris Paul to the Lakers
Whoa, I was going to say the rich get richer, but I don't know if this makes them better. They are going to miss Gasol big time.

Re: Chris Paul to the Lakers
If this happens it would have been a crazy sport news day

This isn't confirmed yet is it?

Re: Chris Paul to the Lakers
sets them up to trade bynum to the magic for howard ... magic realize they have no chance in hell to resign howard so might as well get as much as they can out of him ...

There's no way the Magic will trade Howard for just Bynum. The Bulls can blow away whatever the Lakers have left to offer. I think Howard to LA is pretty much out of the question now.

If they're able to pull this off as well, I understand the trade. I thought they'd want to get CPIII while keeping Kobe and Gasol. That would be a deadly trio. However if they can somehow swing Bynum to get Howard, that's just unfair... but it would be the best for the Lakers.

Other parts like who? Steve Blake? They have nobody else that has any value at all to the Magic. They aren't beating an offer of Noah, Deng, Asik and whatever else the Bulls throw in to make the deal work. The Bulls can also take back Hedo's contract from the Magic.
