Re: Tebow wins the Division!
Also who is the broncos tight end??? Tight ends are huge in the nfl as seen this year and they don't have a good one

Re: Tebow wins the Division!
I don't know how anyone can argue that Denver has good receiving options.

Re: Tebow wins the Division!
Do the broncos have a shot against the Steelers with Big Ben a little banged up and Mendenhall with a possible ACL tear? Its not like the weather in Pittsburgh will affect the Bronco's throwing game.

Re: Tebow wins the Division!
Pitt plays at Denver - Denver could advance! Probably shouldn't but we'll find out next Sunday.

Re: Tebow wins the Division!
Seriously. The title of this thread should really be "Oakland fails to clinch horrible division."
Disclaimer -I'm a life long Chiefs fan and couldn't stand Denver long before Tebow was even born. But really, 3 points, at home, in a must-win game against the last place team in your division? And oh yeah, the 3 points was thanks to a turnover in KC's redzone.
Doesn't bode well when an even better defense is coming in next week.
But as broncocy says, anything can happen, that's why they play the games.

Re: Tebow wins the Division!
I bet they wish they had Brandon Lloyd right about now. The Broncos got into the playoffs without beating a playoff team. As fluky as the Chiefs division title was last year, the Broncos one is worse. Tebow has made Elways decision easier next year, and the fans hear are starting to realize that he can't be an everydown QB.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

Speaking of Orton didn't he go 10-5 and win 8 in a row as a rookie? Seems like the knock on him was poor stats and the defense carried him. He proved his doubters wrong and went on to NFL stardom though. Oh, wait, no he didn't.

The ceiling with him(and the number of years he can take the beating that style requires) is very low.
Why not keep him, since denver seems to love him, but use him as a 3rd down back? I like his toughness and leadership skills.. I wonder if he would accept being moved like that?? Such a great character in the locker room, you gotta find some way to keep him around.. just not as a starting qb.

The Broncos organization has done nothing at all to help Tebow You do not "help" a back-up QB in a rebuilding season. The lower the draft pick the better. Tebow has not helped the Broncos organization- he is stunting their growth.
On the same note, the Bears should have rested their starters yesterday.

Marshall, moss, Johnson. When Demetrius Thomas is your best receiver than your receivers aren't good. He's alright but would be 2,3,4 on most other teams right now Washington is their #1. britt is out. earl Bennett is the bears 1. aromashadu is not better than Decker. and yes I agree Decker and Thomas r not great options. they r however serviceable.
