    Totally agree. I don't care for the Reds, but Barry Larkin is a guy I'll always be able to respect. Great guy, great player.

    Barry was my sports hero growing up. A 19 year career, all with the Reds, for a Cincinnati native is just a perfect story.

    Very long productive career, he is deserving.

    Being a lifelong Orioles fan, I remember many years of arguing over who was better at shortstop, Ripken or Larkin?

    Glad to see both in the Hall of Fame.

    Very deserving for the Hall! I'm also glad he is the only inductee. I hate that experts are predicting others on this ballot will be inducted in a few years. Holy watered down.
