    XFL Returns

How would you feel about XFL returning to life? Theres a new generation of fans that are now grown-ups & potential ticket holders - that grew up getting only a taste of it's excellence.

Additionally, with all the NFL's new rules about hits and fines there could be a lot of NFL players willing to make the jump. If XFL returned, there would be so much buzz and excitement that Jeremy Lin wouldn't even make Sports Center.

Best of all, Tim Tebow would not be allowed to join the XFL.

The XFL was hilarious but I don't think we need to see that again.

Are you high? The XFL was awful. I don't care what you think about some of the NFL rule changes or what the XFL can bring to the table, in the end it's just less talented guys playing the same game. It only lasted one season for a reason.

Let's face it. The NFL has gotten soft. Now is the XFL's time to rise from the ashes.

If Slamball came back I think I'd cry with joy. But I'd rather have XFL.

The same argument you made for the XFL were the same arguments made for it a decade ago, and it was an abysmal failure for those very reasons. The self gloss made the games way too long. Only watched the first half of one game and turned it off because televised high school football was more entertaining.

And the hate for Tim Tebow has become flat out irrational, and he wouldn't need the XFL - he's got a place in the NFL, where the big money is.

Slam Ball was awesome. The best part about it was, unlike the XFL, it didn't pretend to be the NBA, it just wanted to entertain an audience, and did so very well.

I'm still not convinced the XFL would fail. It'd just be the fun league and the NFL can be the NO fun league.
