I think you're right, especially since Cuddyer and Kubel aren't there to take AB's at DH.

Cuddy didn't DH once last year.

Still could see some more DH time, but the Twins are in trouble again if Mauer is playing a lot of 1B this year.

Not an ideal situation but in order to keep both bats in the line-up it will be necessary. I think Mauer has come to grips that he cannot catch 120+ games. Detroit will be tough no matter the line-up however.
