    Report: Saints coach Payton suspended full year, team docked draft picks | wwltv.com New Orleans

    According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, coach Sean Payton will be suspended for a year, general manager Mickey Loomis eight game and fined $500,000 and the Saints will be docked $500,000 and second draft picks in 2012.

    That is HUGE!. The NFL is setting an example with this one, pure and simple. Considering the penalties, I would guess that any existing bounty programs on other teams, will cease to be. Losing your head coach for a year is one of the harshest penalties I can think of.
