2012 Cardinals

There is a reason relievers did not make it as starters. I hated to see Octavio Dotel not sign, he could bring heat with control. Last season started with Franklin's demise. Kinda a parallel with McClellan in that they both were off-speed pitchers who relied on location of "junk". Lose that ability and throw "hangers" and it is all over. It took a month for the organization to realize it was all over for Franklin, hope McClellan can find his touch or it may be a repeat.

anybody notice how our arch-rivals are apparently no fun to watch anymore???? I love this kind of summer. None of that, 'this will be the year' crap. 2013 will be 105 years. Life is good.

12 run 7th inning was a lot of fun and tied a record set in the 1920s!!!

I'm glad that we could help with that record :sad:

Impressive beatdown in the 7th inning. Everything humming along right until then. The 7th solved that problem.

I do see the run but I dont think they will keep it up. Non the the less I will be in Busch stadium next weekend for the 30 year Anny of the Cards WS win.

Is that why there are banners around st. Louis promoting it or is it like this all the time?

There is no baseball town quite like STL my good man. We celebrate the Cards 24/7/365!!!!!

I can tell. Went to bucks today and the game. I've been impressed with the fan base. You can tell its a baseball city just from driving through downtown. Way different feeling in Chicago. More of a football/ basketball city.
