Yup he checked his swing. But I'm sure the ump was willing to give it to him, especially after the Tigers situation. And ESPN would go nuts if it was called ball 4.
Every single MLB baseball game I've watched in the last 20 years has had the check swing camera angles. I am not sure why Fox didn't show this angle. It's going to lead to a lot of speculation until this angle is shown
