Anybody else think he is annoying and arrogant? His saying "He Gone!" is annoying as heck. He also just about cries after every White Sox loss. He doesn't even want to talk after them.

I like " he gone", but then again I never watch the sox. Now on the other hand, "you can put it on the board....yes!" Is TRBL.

I'm a Twins fan and I hate him. When the Twins play the Sox is one of the few time I can watch them play in Ames and he almost makes it not worth it. I admit I am very biased, I'd much rather have Bert.

He is simply an acquired taste. Now in saying that he certainly has his moments. I don't really enjoy the da gumits he throws out during every game. But " You can put it on the boarrrrrdd YES!!!" is amazing.
Also, everyones announcers are homers so saying you don't like Hawk because he is a homer is just dumb.

I personally like listening to him. But Clones21.....since you don't have a favorite team and stuff, what's sparking your interest in watching the White Sox?

I loved watching games when the Sox played in the Metrodome. The Twins seemingly owned them in the Dome over the last 5 or 6 years and it was great to hear Hawk whine and complain about infield choppers that went for singles!

And this is coming from a fan base who idolized Ron Santo...... lol

That was such a great time in the rivalry. Every Twins-Sox game was competitive and tough. I loved how Ozzie respected the Twins. I just hope we can get back to being pirahnnas.

God yes! Can't stand him! Watch a Sox game a couple of weekends ago and couldn't even last an inning. The biggest homer I have ever seen. If anyone gets the chance to watch Royals game Rex Hudler is probably the biggest idiot ever. Always love going back to California to listen to Vin Scully. He is the BEST.

Cannot stand him at all. As an indians fan here I can only watch them on local markets and I usually put it on mute when it's on comcast.
His stupid sayings are bad enough, but it's his lack of giving any opposing players credit that bugs me.
White Sox player strikes out - bad swing.
Opposing player hits a homerun - bad pitch (or had to be a bad pitch because the ref is squeezing him).
I'm no twins fan, but I love Dick and Bert, they're my favorite duo in the bigs
