AL Central
Since a lot of you are White Sox and Twins fans I thought I would make a thread for us AL Central folks to talk about the season as it goes on.
How about them Indians My teams: (as of 2/27/13) Cleveland Browns: 5-11 - .313 Cleveland Indians: 68-94 - .421 Cleveland Cavs: 19-38 - .333 Iowa State Cyclones (FB): 6-7 - .462 9/22/18 & 9/7/19 Akron and Iowa State CAN'T WAIT! -
Re: AL Central
Once the Tigers get their **** figured out they're going to run away with the division, just like last year.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -
Re: AL Central
Dark times as a Twins fan. Just 2 years ago they ran up 90+ wins and I'll be happy
if they get 60 this year.

Re: AL Central
I never thought the Twins pitching could get worse. They're proving me wrong this year. -
Re: AL Central
Good time to be an Indians fan, but I'm not gonna get too excited just yet. What was it last year 30-15? That being said, pieces are falling into place and the veterans are providing. I love seeing Pronk get back to form and Jack "The Mannahan" Hannahan has been my favorite so far!

Re: AL Central
This thread will only disappoint me unless our season gets turned around somehow. Good idea though.

Re: AL Central
As an Indians fan I obviously want them to win the division. But every year that they don't, I just root for whoever ISN'T the White Sox haha.

Re: AL Central
The Twins are by far and away the worst team in baseball. Their rotation is just embarrassing. The only one who deserves to be a starter in the league is Pavano, and he's a 4 or 5 starter on a good team. Liriano is a mess, Blackburn is super hittable, Hendricks just got sent down to AAA, Marquis is not starter material anymore.
The worst part about it is there's no help in the upper minors either. The vast majority of the Twins highly ranked prospects are below AA. Sano is one of the best prospects in baseball, but he's 18 years old and in Low-A ball right now. It's going to be a long couple of years for the Twins.

My favorite Jack Hannahan moment was when he was running around the field in KC acting like a little ***** trying to start a fight against the Royals. Yeah, Jonathan Sanchez hit Choo, but most games Sanchez is lucky if he can find the strike zone 50% of the time. There's nothing better than guys coming off the bench acting like Affliction-wearing meatheads trying to start ****.

Re: AL Central
I, for one, am glad the Twins are down this year. Royals have had to look up at them in the standings for a long time.

I thought that whole situation was ridiculous, but stupider things have taken place in baseball.

I knew the pitching would be mediocre but thought maybe the bats could keep them afloat, and both have been worse than I expected.
I'm not sure what kind of SP prospects are on the farm for the Royals, but this team needs some good arms as badly as the Twins do. I think they ought to finally throw the in the towel on Hochevar and ship him and a position player along to a team that has surplus pitching in exchange for a couple decent starters. The Nationals have at least 7 SPs in their organization and could use some more offense...
