Doesn't matter if the court found him not guilty, doesn't mean he's innocent. Can't tell me that if you knowing let your wife take them and associated with dirty guys like McNamee and Canseco that you can still look everyone in the face and say you NEVER took them. This verdict won't change how baseball fans and hall of fame voters think of him, there just wasn't a smoking gun to prove he's guilty but there was plenty of smoke that the educated baseball fan knows he's lying.

Exactly. Not guilty /= innocence. Just means there was an inability to convict based on the evidence presented. In this case due to prosecutor incompetence.

congress should not have gotten involved in the first place. go rocket
People love the game and value the accomplishments of it's best players. To see records that stood for years broken by obvious juicers and cheats tarnished the integrity of the game. Bonds breaking Aaron's home run record a prime example. I'm glad Congress stepped in and pressured baseball to save itself, it's our game.
Pure disappointment in the world of baseball. Now we have tainted records and worst of all, people who know now that they can get away with it with no recourse.

I dont know what congress had to do with this. The Baseball commission should have kept it where it belonged and not allowed it to get into a media circus. I agree with you that they should not have, I just don't understand how this was or is more important than getting our troops out of the middle east. Can someone enlighten me on this?
