Suprised to see the Cubs Bryan LaHair make it but the players voted in the reserves so says a lot that his peers think so highly of him. He's definitely been one of the bright spots for a terrible Cubs team this season.

It's sad to think that the Reds could have both Hamilton and Votto right now.

Admittedly, we got Volquez for him, but still...

He is a stud, hope we keep him....hard to develop power. I figured Castro would get the nod but very pleasantly surprised that LaHair made it....he started off so hot. Still going to be a more fun team to watch this year than the last couple, I am ready for the youth movement.

Cubs drafted Hamilton in the Rule 5 draft years ago and traded him to Cincy, we thought we had too many decent outfielders at the time. I was so po'd.

Adam Dunn making it surprised me the most. Yes, he had a lot of early HRs, but he's hitting about .210 and leads the MLB in SOs.

If we are talking Snubs it starts and ends with James McDonald... In fact, he has a strong case for earning the start for the NL.

He may be only hitting .210 but his OBP is .359 which ranks 20th in the AL and he is 3rd in homers, and 4th in RBI's. Not great stats but you can see why he made the team

smh. The NL roster is full of players who make you scratch your head wondering how they made an all-star team.

I'll be at the game. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the All-Star game at my favorite teams stadium.

Going to the Futures Game and Celebrity Softball Game Sunday. Also have Fan Fest tickets for Monday before the public gets to come in. Really excited for both.
