1 on 1 game between the two of them. $50,000 bet to the winners charity. I like Irving and think he will be a star in the NBA, but I gotta take Kobe in this one

I like Kyrie alot, Kobe should be able to win but i will watch it and enjoy every second of it regardless of who wins.

This would never happen, but an 8-man 1 on 1 tournament at all star weekend with a $1M purse would be an amazing event to watch.

Only if you allow only guards to play guards centers vs centers etc. Guys like Howard and LeBron can't be stopped one on one.

Shaq could come out of the tv booth right now and win it.

I think Bill Simmons had an idea like this in one of his columns a year or two ago. I think he also added in a 2 on 2 tournament too with the 1st place winner being placed with the last place person in the 1 on 1 then continued making teams from there. It would be so much better than any of the current All-Star events.

That would be awesome. I wish Bill Simmons had a bunch of pull in the NBA and could do it his way for awhile. All in all I think it would be a huge improvement doing things based on some of his ideas.

LOL is this serious? A big guy is not winning this. I would put LeBron as the favorite with Durant close behind. Kobe's lost some of his ability to get to the hoop the last few years and I think his over reliance on jump shots would hurt him. Carmelo would be a dark horse to win too, he's got an unmatched all around offensive game.
