    MLS All-Stars vs Chelsea

    Didn't see a thread, anyone else watching?

    I know it doesn't matter for anything but I always enjoy these kind of games. Lot of talent on the field and no real stakes makes for some entertaining play usually.

    Also, the Liverpool vs Roma game was a pretty good appetizer. Loved seeing Bradley get the goal. It almost looked like his teammates didn't really want to get him the ball early in the game but he started becoming a bigger piece as the game went one. Hopefully he has a great season going forward.

    I wonder how "good" this Chelsea team really is, considering 1. it's essentially a "preseason" game for them and 2. their best players probably aren't playing as they're getting ready for the Olympics.

    They certainly didn't start their best 11, between the Olympics starting this week and Premier League in a month I'm not surprised.

    For sure. It also has to be pretty tough for the MLS guys to come together for like three days and play well together. Neither side is a "best XI" but it's still fun to watch talented guys play.

    I'd be down to see some PK's from this one. Might as well let it last as long as possible, right? I wish Nielsen was in though. Not sure how many he has blocked this year but he is pretty incredible at them.

    Awwwww **** EJ!Well I might not get those PKs after all. It was certainly a good bit of luck off the defender like that, but they did give him plenty of time and space to do something with it.

    You weren't going to get PKs anyway - those only occur in tournament games when aggregate score isn't a factor.

    For the All-Star game they do PKs straight after regulation. It's all just a publicity stunt so they actually want a winner.
