not sure how I feel about this deal. I dont know much about this Pinada fella, but Danny has proven that he has the ability to play major league ball. Was this year's downfall a fluke? Or is he done?

Danny V has tons of potential, but just doesn't have the mental aspect to match it in my mind. Plouffe has established himself as a good 3rd basemen with well above average pop this year. Might as well get a high upside prospect for him while you can.

Sounds like they traded him for a lottery ticket. Basically just wanted him out of town.

Sure hope the Plouffe thing wasn't a complete fluke...even then it's still pretty shaky over there.

The Red Sox were game for the dirt. It was the Twins insistence on including the jar that killed the deal.
