I say leave offside calls alone but definitely have review available for goals, the linesman should be able to distinguish when a ball might have crossed the line and needs to be reviewed, can't imagine it would take long to look at a replay and see if the ball went over or not.
I agree. Goal line decisions should be relatively easy to correct and in a fairly quick manner as well.
There are too many moving parts to use video replay on offsides calls I'm afraid. If a side judge rules offsides, stops what would be a free run at the goal, and then later video replay reveals that the call was incorrect there's really no appropriate recourse to remedy the situation.
