Vikings to the playoffs?

I know it's early in the year, but looking at the Vikes schedule it really favors them. It's not out of the question that they could go to post season...even with a wildcard. I would litteraly poo me self if the Vikes went to the playoffs this year. Keys are keeping AP healthy, keep Harvin healthy, Ponder keep doing what you are doing, defense stay healthy and playing well. This team has ALOT of talent. They seem to be gelling. What do you guys think?

Just Fraizer, but I was excited to actually see him show some emotion today. Maybe he's getting better at being a head coach.

There schedule is incredibly weak for the next 2 months. It seems strange that they have 5 division games squeezed into the last 7 weeks. Should make for some interesting football if the NFC North race is close.

They're off to a much better start than I expected but way too much season left to make that prediction.

The offense needs some work after today's performance. Just 2 field goals. Maybe they were playing more conservative because they had the lead, but I was unimpressed. The Vikings are fortunate they have a good return game to exploit the horrible coverage/tackling of the Lions special teams. Also, the defense seemed solid.

I don't disagree but Peterson did have 100 yards, and they did have two possessions taken away by special teams TDs. If those two returns get taken back close to the endzone, but not in, and Peterson punches it in once or twice there aren't nearly as many questions about the offense. They did seem content to be very conservative in the passing game in the middle of the game today, but it worked. They chewed clock and were efficient.

The team may be 3-1 with a quality win over SF, but this three-game stretch will say a lot about where this team is. Today, miscues by Detroit seemed to give the Vikes more of a chance to win than solid play from either the offense or defense did. Special teams gets the game ball today.

That isn't for two months. That is week 12, we are in week 4 right now going into week 5. Until then the schedule is favorable. Hopefully is allows the team to gel and get a ton of confidence going into some tough games at the end of the season.
