NFL head coach battling leukemia
Jim Irsay: Chuck Pagano has leukemia, “He can beat this thing” | ProFootballTalk
Chuck Pagano, first year head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, has been diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia. He has been in an Indianapolis hospital ICU since last Wednesday undergoing treatment. Terrible news for Colts fans - along with Luck he has really energized the fan base with his relentless optimism, enthusiasm and grit. Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will take over head coaching duties, likely for the remainder of the season. Prayers to Pagano and his family and hopes for a full recovery. Edit - Conflicting sources as to how long Pagano will be absent from the team. I've read anywhere between a few games to all season.

Re: NFL head coach battling leukemia
Prayers to Pagano, his family, and the entire Colts organization. I can't stand Irsay because of how much of a drama queen he is, but I think Pagano can really turn that organization around.
