Now that defensive coordinators have had a year to disect his game they can do things to stop/confuse him.
I'm not ready to compare Cam Newton to Vince Young though.

I think if/when Carolina surrounds him with better talent and if/when he matures more he has a chance at being a decent QB. He's already shown flashes of having that potential in the NFL.

Please. I hardly think that is the problem - he played in the SEC, where if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'. He's likely very familiar with playing with and against other players getting paid.
