    need some FF advice again

So this week the Packers have a BYE so i won't have my usual points from Rodgers and Cobb. In our league it's PPR and you get points for KR/PR yards too, so Cobb has be awesome to have.

    QB
Right now i've got Ryan Fitzpatrick as my backup and the Bills play the Patriots who give up a lot of passing yards. However he hasnt been doing that well lately it seems. I also have the option to pick up Alex Smith and the Niners play the Rams or i could pick up Andy Dalton who's going up against the Giants who have been giving up a lot of pass yards the past couple of games. thoughts?

    RB
i've got Adrian Peterson and then my other RB is Ahamad Bradshaw who hasn't been doing too much as of late. I have a waiver to pick up Isaac Redman and they play the Chiefs who have given up a ton of rushing yards. If i can get Redman should i play him over Bradshaw?

    WR
my option for my last WR spot is
Sidney Rice - playing the Jets, so i don't think he'll get many catches
    Denarius Moore - playing Baltimore
Jacoby Jones - playing the Raiders and he's on KR/PR duties now so i'll get points for that too. thoughts?

Me too. last week Andrew Luck out played Brees and that was with Ind. playing Miami (solid defense) vs NO playing Philly (No defense) this week Brees faces Atl def. and Indy gets Jacksonville which to put it nicely BLOWS. Do I bench Brees for Luck?

obviously rice or moore, with slight lean to Rice. probably can't go wrong either way. Balt def isn't what it used to be.

Re: need some FF advice again

I would have trouble starting Fitzpatrick ever. With that said, it does seem as though he always has huge games against the Pats - those games turn into shoot-outs. Based on the three options you gave, I think I would actually go with Fitz. Normally I'd suggest Dalton, but the Giants D is just too tough, IMO.

Having dabbled in the Steelers RB roulette game myself, I would highly suggest staying away from any of their RB's, not matter what. I would stick with Bradshaw myself.

For WR, either Rice or Jones. The Jets pass D isn't as good as it used to be, but the added benefit of return yards makes this a toss-up, imo.

All this said - I feel as though I almost always make the wrong choice when faced with situations like these on my team, so take what I wrote with a grain of salt.

    Good Luck.

QB - Probably Dalton, Fitz might be without Stevie
RB - Only Redman if Mendy and Dwyer are both still out. If he's sharing carries 3 ways, he's not that valuable
WR - Rice or Moore, probably Moore.

No never bench Brees for Luck. Also, in games like Indy vs Jacksonville, they look good on paper, but the problem is that they get ahead early and abandon the pass, and run the ball and the clock. Again, never bench Brees for Luck.

Darren McFadden and his backup Mike Goodson both have high ankle sprains and are possibly out against Baltimore. That leaves Taiwan Jones & Marcel Reece as Oakland's running backs. Carson Palmer threw 61 passes against Tampa Bay mostly because they were behind. Given Jones or Reece may start Palmer may have to throw a ton again.

Ok, after reading Cydar's response, Moore is the wise play.

Re: need some FF advice again

Now that I didn't help you much... Here is my dilemma:

    defense:
    1. Chicago - they have been awesome thus year but are playing Houston.

    2. Detroit - they play Minnesota who has not been scoring much. They may be minus Percy as well.

    wr/rb

    1. Emmanuel Sanders - Antonio brown might be out vs a poor KC defense.

    2. Joique Bell - vs Minnesota he is a running back so may get more touches. However, he is second string running back.

    3. Danny amendola - they play SF and he has been injured for three weeks.

    Thanks again fellow fanatics!
