I see the Lakers have decided on Mike D'Antoni to solve their problems. haha My friend who is a lakers fans texted me the news this morning, and he and I imagine most Laker fans not happy with this choice. D'Antoni sure will improve the offense but defensively he's never been a good coach.

He was pretty good defensively with Tyson Chandler in the middle instead of Amare Stoudemire. They say that Mike Woodson as an assistant played a key role.
Hopefully LA's training staff is as good as Phoenix's. D'Antoni's love of a short rotation plus the Lakers terrible bench will mean lots of minutes for an aging core group.
