Re: First trip to Arrowhead this weekend.
Plan on leaving at halftime to beat the traffic (if you are lucky.)

parking is $27 and not very many porta potties.
traffic wasn't bad last week getting in or out as most people left before the start of the 4th.
There's parking across the street along the Blue Ridge Cutoff. When I was in KC back in September for the Chargers-Chiefs game, I parked in the ITT Institute parking lot for $15.
I would get there no later than 10 a.m. When I went, I pulled off of I-70 at 10:30. Didn't get to my seats until 11:15 or 11:30.

Re: First trip to Arrowhead this weekend.
Last week there were reports of no lines at the gates for parking. KC is really, REALLY down on this team. I would be there early for parking, but don't assume it's going to jam packed. Hell, they sold tickets for $6 against Cinci last week.

Anyone know how strict they are on their camera policy?
I e-mailed them about it. They let me bring in my DSLR and a lens that was 6" or shorter when collapsed.

Appreciate it! So if I want to bring my 70-200 in I need to hide it on my way in then.

Yeah, I would say good luck with that. I was able to get my 75-300 in. Here are some of the photos I got:

Maybe not this year because the chiefs blow but it's known for being a very loud stadium. I almost went on the KXNO trip because I want to see Peyton in person but saving my money for an ISU bowl trip.

Nice! I've got a 28-300 Tamron that is much more compact so I'll probably try that in stead.
