That would be dumb. The QBs in this draft are lackluster at best. Chiefs need a LB. If they don't take Jarvis Jones, I even know anymore. Jones is the best Defensive player in the country. If he played for Notre Dame, people wouldn't even know Te'o 's? name.

I can see it. It's a bad year to have the #1 pick and KC is in serious need of a QB.

Honestly, I would take the best player on the board and grab a QB in the second round if I was KC. There aren't many teams that need a qb so a good one should fall to the second. Even if you had to take a pick from Bray, the NC State kid and Wilson, you would still get a pretty good qb.

Chiefs fan here. Best case scenario is to trade back to the 10-12 area. I think they absolutely have to draft a QB. I can't remember the stat but they haven't drafted a QB out of college in a ridiculous amount of years. If they don't go QB it may get ugly. All depends on who takes over the management of this team.

Totally agree - what a bad year to have the #1 pick, or even the #2 pick. Last year top two picks Luck/RG, year before Cam/Von Miller

Maybe Geno will be a great pro, but I'm guessing no.

I wasn't talking 3rd round with Stanzi. More talking early round to build a franchise around.

    Re: 2013 nfl mock draft

The Chiefs should trade back to acquire a few more picks. They really need a QB, but they could probably use some linemen as well. But, with how weak this years draft is, I'm not sure how many teams will want the first pick.

I don't remember what round but didn't they draft Brodie Croyle, I think that was his name. I thought he was a pretty high round pick but I could be wrong. Also, I thought Stanzi was a 5th rounder.

Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Chiefs should try to get Alex Smith in exchange for their other three qbs.
