Yeah, I think the Packers beat the Bears this weekend to lock up the division, but with the rest of their schedule I still see the Bears getting a Wild Card spot. The Cardinals are a joke right now and Detroit puts up some points, but always find way to lose the game.

Should know a lot more after this weekend as there are a lot of crucial games to be played that could affect the playoff seeding: (NYG vs. ATL, MIN vs. STL, GB vs. CHI, DEN vs. BAL, IND vs. HOU, PIT vs. DAL, SF vs. NE). Should be a pretty good weekend of NFL football!

Its difficult to predict but I have little faith in the Bears right now. Cutler looked bad against MN, really bad. We cant run the ball because our Oline is pathetic and Cutler has a knack for passing to the other team at least once or twice a game. Marshall is a beast but he cant win on his own.

Defensively the Bears have been less than stellar on the recent skid. The offense doesnt help them much but if they dont force turnovers they are on the field too long. Hell last week everyone in the stadium knew AP was going to get the ball and they couldnt stop him. Ponder had 91 yds passing, 91!!!! and they still won.

I agree the other two teams outside GB are bad but are they worse than Chicago right now? I could see Chicago going 0-3 over the next three or as good as 2-1. I dont see any way they win this weekend.

There's dumbarses everywhere. I'm sure there are Cyclone fans that way too, but I think most of us would run them outta here via ridicule fairly quickly. For me, every loss for my Cyclones and Packers is summed up as my teams not doing enough to win. In every game, there's an opponent and officials, and you can control what neither of them do. You can control what you do, and you have to do enough. Admittedly, part of not doing enough to win can be that the team was outmatched, outcoached, etc., but I think you have to keep in perspective that for every blame of someone else, at the end of the day, your team didn't overcome it.

Please don't use the phrase "we" when posting ridiculous comments like this. The team may not have looked good the last couple weeks but to place them in the "bad" category is dumb.

I'm feeling better about this game by the minute. I'd be more nervous if everyone was predicting the bears. I see just about everyone is betting packers and that line is holding at +3. When everyone agrees they've found an easy pick/"free money", they usually end up looking stupid.

    Re: Bears/Packers trash talk

Theres no asterisk like in the seattle game, the packers deserved to win...but I don't think its just my bias saying that those officials were as bad as the bears offense. They made bad calls against both teams..some bigger than others. That endzone PI on 3rd and 12 was horrible. I doubt Crosby even makes that FG if he tries. That TD was a gift. And Jeffery must have said something to the officials because they repeatedly screwed him over. Some deserved. One of those drive killing offensive PI calls was disgraceful though. And fitting that their last chance drive ends with offensive PI followed by Shields getting away with grabbing him.

Any unbiased opinions on the officiating? I can't fully trust myself when it comes to the bears..but I feel like if the replacement refs had been making those calls, they would have been picked apart for being so awful.

Casual Vikings fan here. I think the calls definitely favored the Packers a little bit, but like you noted, the loss is on the Bear's offense

Bears offense played bad but the reffing was awful.

The last PI on Jeffery was a bush league call IMO. And Shields could have easily been flagged on the long ball to Jeffery on their 2nd to last drive. Other than that the bears O blows....

Packers fan, didn't watch every play, so I can't comment on favoritism, but I saw some pretty bad/missed calls. Bears receiver pulls defender down by facemask, gets wide open and it's defensive pass interference. Packers DB got away with a bad jersey grab on that important pass play at the end.

Edit: I'm betting I was thinking about the Shields one Cycrazy mentioned, just didn't see who it was.

Cowboys fan here, thot the bears got screwed. All 3 on Jeffrey were questionable, mostly the touchdown. The nom-call on Shields and worst the roughing the passer on Peppers. And I should be rooting for the Pack for our playoff position.

As a Vikes fan I agree with this. However, like everyone else has been saying the loss goes to the Bear's offense.
