I don't think he is bad at all with that. I would agree that he probably is a little more sympathetic towards the refs than most though.

[QUOTE=bostrem00;3214068]Bears fans have no room to talk about getting shafted by the officials....Even with those "bad calls" they still had the ball with about 4 minutes to score and have an opportunity to tie it up...Its not like the officials made a call that altered the outcome at the 0:00 mark of the 4th quarter, see the Seattle game
    QUOTE]

Not to beat a dead horse, but that drive they still had with 4 minutes left is part of what we're talking about. One of the Jeffery OPI calls was on a catch at the GB 20. Instead of 1st and 10 at GB 20, it's 3rd and 20 at CHI 34. And then the no call on 4th and 9 around midfield was the ballgame. So to change the outcome it has to be on the very last play of the game? I don't know if the bears would have pulled it off, but the officials were real shady in guaranteeing that outcome.

There's a lot of calls that can be argued for by the letter of the rules, but are usually not called. I think if he can make an argument for the officials, he does. He's not necessarily wrong..he speaks more to the letter of the law and less practically about how games are actually called.

Agreed. He still isn't biased against the Bears or the Packers in any way shape or form.
