If Seattle wins 1 of their last 2, they get in and Minnesota and Chicago battle for the last spot. I'm hoping for a Seattle loss tonight. Can't the Vikes get in if Seattle lost its last two and Chicago loses next week? I haven't looked into it much, but I've been thinking that all along.
Edit: Since the Seahawks are at the 5 seed right now, they could win their games and the Vikings could still get the 6 seed. I don't know what I was thinking.

I really hope that's the case, I'd much rather play the Redskins than the Packers two weeks in a row. Plus there would still be that (miniscule) hope that the Vikings would host an NFC Championship Game vs. the #6 seed.

If they lose tonight, my hopes will increase until I think about them playing the Rams.

What a beatdown by Seattle.

Re: week 16 thread
That was awful. Time will tell but I don't think Kaepernick was the right decision with the results they had been getting from Smith. I think the Niners are just too erratic to win the Super Bowl. They just absolutely suck sometimes. Of course, at times, they are unbeatable.

Or so I have read. -

Seattle is the hottest team in the NFL right now

I knw he was hurt, but they were doing just fine with him at QB. I guess thats why they are the coaches and I am just a fan of football, they obviously thought it was the right decision then.

That could be the best game of the whole playoffs, and it might be the very first one.

Harbaugh drafted Kaepernick so it was inevitable that he would want his guy in there.
And I agree with the post above that Seattle is the hottest team out there.

As a fifty-plus years Bears fan, I really enjoy watching Seattle home games and would love to attend a Seahawks game in their stadium.
Having said that, something about Pete Carroll just makes me........uneasy.

Re: week 16 thread
If the Vikings win next week it knocks the Bears out of playoffs doesn't it? Vikes have tie breaker over Bears.
