This statement can be made for pretty much any team. Obviously if you take away team's star players they don't win as many games.

This statement can be made for pretty much any team. Obviously if you take away team's star players they don't win as many games. Can anyone think of a team that has been as good as the 49ers without having a standout guy. Yeah, Willis, Smith and Smith are great but I don't feel like they would be devastated without them. Maybe the Ravens a few years ago? Frank Gore is probably the closest thing and I think they could function without him.

OR
with losses by New York (vs. Philadelphia), Chicago (vs. Detroit), AND a loss or tie by Dallas (vs. Washington).
So it is very unlikely that MIN makes it with a loss, but it is possible. Vikings fans would become Eagles/Lions/Redskins fans.
